User Agreement

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Cinema Player HD. By downloading, installing, or using the application, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cinema Player HD ("the App"), published by Cinema Player HD ("we", "us", or "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not download, install, or use the App. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Local Video Playback License
Cinema Player HD is a local and streaming media playback application. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial video playback.
The App does not provide, host, distribute, or sublicense any media content. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all media you play through the App is obtained legally and that you hold the necessary rights or licenses to view such content.
The App accesses local files on your device only with your explicit permission (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). We do not upload, transmit, or store your media files on external servers.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
You shall not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law; (b) remove or alter any proprietary notices; (c) use the App to infringe intellectual property rights of third parties; (d) attempt to circumvent security features including the Privacy Vault; or (e) redistribute the App or its components without authorization.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including biometric credentials used to access the Privacy Vault.
4. Intellectual Property
Cinema Player HD, including its source code, design, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Open-source components included in the App are subject to their respective licenses, which are available in the App or our GitHub repository. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of our intellectual property.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices, codecs, or media formats. Playback quality depends on your device hardware, network conditions, and source media characteristics.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DEVICE MALFUNCTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars (USD $50), whichever is greater.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cinema Player HD operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
